Scenes from "Secret Sisters' Lunch"
December 3, 2005
A bit of Explanation
The first of September, the ladies who wanted to participate in the "Secret Sisters" Program, drew names for a "Secret Sister." During the months of September, October, and November, the one who drew the name, would buy little gifts, or write notes, to her secret sister. These would be brought to church, and left at the front of the building. Then one of the men would distribute the gifts or cards to the ladies whose names were on the cards. The one who drew the name, would also pray for her "secret sister." Then on December 3, the ladies had a lunch together. They tried to guess who their "secret sister" was, and if they didn't know, then the "secret sister" would identify herself. Below are pictures of the secret sisters as they greet each other.
