Those We Need to Remember

Alice Wallace, Carolyn’s mother, seemed to be doing much better until Friday.  Carolyn took her for her first chelation treatment, and she got very tired and also came down with a bladder infection that she is having trouble getting rid of.  She ran a fever all day Saturday and spent most of the day in bed.

A Marriage took place Wednesday.

Wednesday evening we had a number of visitors present.  Mark Reynolds, the grandson of Ken and Elisia Reynolds was married to Ashley Johnson.  Mary Knox was able to be here also.  Mark is her great grandson.  Our congratulations to these two as they begin married life together.  Their time to be together will be rather short as Mark is home from the Marines, and is to go back in about six weeks.

We are planning on Regular Services This Evening

Last week was a very unusual situation.  Many were out of town with plans for being with families, so we dismissed services last Sunday evening.  This evening is New Years Day, but we know of nothing that would interfere with our services this evening.

Church Web Site Being Updated

I began the process of updating our church website.  If you go to our homepage, you will see a link in red: Scenes from Secret Sisters Lunch  I have posted a total of eight pictures, so obviously I haven’t posted all the pictures I plan to get posted.  If your picture isn’t there, you can let me know, but I am still working on it.

Remember Our Pantry Needs

We did help a family with pantry items yesterday.  Canned meat was hit the hardest, so for next week, “Meats and Soups” as listed on the calendar would be very appropriate.
